This AHA course is conducted fully in-person. 

Prerequisites:

  • AHA BLS and PALS Provider Certification (not expired)
  • AHA BLS and PALS Instructor Essentials Completion Certificate

Schedule:

This is a 4 day course series. Day 1 and 3 will be didactic and instructional method.

On day 2 and 4, you will be required to teach a section of a provider course (Day 2 is BLS Provider, Day 4 is PALS Provider). You must bring a person with you for each to act as your student. They will not be charged for the course & will receive a free certification after completion.

The course fee includes the online instructor essentials course, in person instructor essentials course, and required monitoring session(s).  AHA requires all instructors to have current Instructor and Provider Manuals for any discipline being instructed; if needed select the required manuals from below to add to your registration
