The AHA’s ACLS-EP Course goes above and beyond a traditional ACLS course and is designed for those who regularly team lead the emergency assessment and treatment of prearrest, arrest, or postarrest patients. ACLS-EP goes far beyond the core ACLS training by offering critical thinking opportunities for those advanced, experienced, healthcare professionals who use ACLS on a regular basis. The goal of ACLS EP is to improve outcomes in complex cardiovascular, respiratory and other (e.g., metabolic, toxicologic) emergencies by expanding on core ACLS guidelines and encouraging critical thinking and decision-making strategies.

This course is for experienced AHA ACLS Instructors to deliver a more involved, in-depth course to experienced providers.  In order to attend this instructor course, you must have approval from and be currently aligned with our Training Center as an ACLS Instructor and receive permission from our TCC.  There is extensive preparation required for the ACLS-EP Instructor course so please ensure you are registered well in advance.
